Entertainment

This year we have gone for a even split between providing entertainment and quiet nights for those who like to enjoy their Real Ale and a chat with friends.

Wednesday 23rd August : Quiet Night. Come along and sample the first beers to be ready.

Thursday 24th August : The Onion Band. A welcome return for festival regulars, The Onion Band. For more information see their website www.onionband.com

Real Ale related Book Auction to be held Thursday evening. More details to follow. Proceeds to the Essex Air Ambulance.

Friday 25th August : Quiet Night.

Saturday 26th August : G3.   To coincide with the Clacton Jazz Festival, also being held this weekend, we have arranged for local group G3 to play an afternoon of Swing Jazz, from The 30's To Today.

Air Show

Thursday 24th & Friday 25th August are the days to attend one of the noisiest beer festivals in the country!

The displays take place from about 1pm each day, dependent on the weather and you can see it by popping outside.

Once again, the show will have the Red Arrows as the main feature.

As the display takes place over the sea, for a full view, you'll need to walk to the end of Tower Road (don't forget to come back for your beer!).

More details will appear in the programme (if available when published) or enquire at the Clacton Tourist Office in the Town Hall.
