Welcome the Colchester Branch of the Campaign
for Real Ale
Welcome to the official Web site of the Colchester branch of CAMRA ( The Campaign For Real Ale). Our aim is quite simple....to promote, preserve and most importantly, DRINK real ales!! This is achieved by visiting the pubs themselves, to encourage Landlords to promote real ale or for us to give support to those that already do. We also hold Beer Festivals where the public can drink quality beer at reasonable prices, talk to fellow drinkers about anything they fancy (especially as the time creeps on!) and generally have a good time. The Colchester branch has an active events programme - such as trips out to rural villages, cycle rides, or brewery visits. There's always something happening within the branch for people to join in with. We meet at least once a month and anyone is welcome to come along. See the Calendar for times and dates.
