3rd Annual Robin's Ramble

3rd Annual Robin's Ramble. 

The details of the ramble are as follows:

8.55 - meet at Colchester North Station
9.12 catch train for Mistley
9.30 ish - begin walk on Essex Way towards Harwich
12.30 ish  -arrive Castle Inn Ramsey for lunch. (Full bar menu- couple of beers on offer - Wells Eagle IPA and a changing guest)
1.30 ish continue walk to Harwich along Essex Way.
3.30  ish  - arrive Harwich - visit GBG pubs etc
16.55 train back to Colchester - or - 17.33 - bus to Colchester (or make own arrangements)

This is quite a long walk but very enjoyable and no hills to speak of. There are excellent views over the River Stour and some good opportunities for bird watching as we walk through two nature reserves. Mud is inevitable in places. Appropriate sturdy footwear and warm and waterproof clothing is essential.
