CycAle May 2012: South Essex

Saturday, May 19, 2012 - 12:00am to 11:45pm

Itinerary

This tour breaks new ground for Cycale but involves quite lengthy train travel. However, the pubs are varied with a few absolute gems! I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will be accepted on all the trains with our bikes! It is about 45 miles in total.

WARNING - Parts of this route will have more traffic than we are usually used to (including 4X4s with personalised number plates (note for Julian) so great care and caution will be needed throughout. Also – the final part of the ride is about 20 miles in length finishing with a cruise along the sea front at Southend! (A shorter alternative for those who wish to do this would be a ride back to Battlesbridge after Pagelsham).
