It's about 23 miles. Option of returning by train or cycling back.
Weather permitting - if snow and ice get in the way then we may walk from Mistley Station instead.

Meeting Place:
Meet at the start of the Wivenhoe Trial (Hythe, Colchester) for a 10am departure.
The Wivenhoe trail is untarmaced and may not be suitable for delicate road bikes. There is an alternative road route via the University, if you wish to take this option please let us know and we'll meet in Wivenhhoe at the end of the trail at 10:20am.
